My goals as a beginner? 1. I will try not to become overfed...

For a while now, I will try to blog in english, because of the course PLENK 2010. Please help me. Correct my english. In this clip Dave Cormier explanins the new (?) form of learning and knowledge. Is this a way to connect formal and informal learning?

My goals?

1. Find out how a course like this works and how to get the best out of it. Try not to become overfed.

2. Find and interact with people who share my interests. I mean for example, using new technologies in teaching.

3. Improve my english.

I will say that your english doesn't seem to be a problem from here. I know what it's like though, while i can speak french, I struggle with subtleties. But... it looks like your english is better than my french.

As for the course, you'll likely find some folks who are interested in technologies for teaching. There are some good introductions to these kinds of courses around... if you need anything, just drop me a line :)

dave.

ps. mmm... skicka kommentar or Förhandsgranska

I am also in PLENK2010 and can relate to your goals and loved the part "Try not to become overfed." I am always looking around and often feel like I never go too in depth on any one thing. It make my head spin.

Hi!

Your English is excellent so please don't let that worry you.

I am also focusing on using technology in the classroom. Here in the USA I am certified to teach elementary school students in grades 1 - 6 (ages 6 to 12).

Currently in many elementary schools when students get the chance to go to the "computer lab," they mostly practice typing skills or play a computer "game" that drills them in math facts. What I have realized thus far is that the skills we really need to teach are the ones that will enable our students to actively reflect upon the limitless resources that they have available to them.

Good luck!

Hej!

I'm an English teacher, and I am impressed with your English! And also impressed with your willingness to "jump right in," and start blogging about the course. I'm still trying to figure everything out, so I feel a little lost...

Looking forward to interacting with you more!
